All of our coaches are working industry professionals and have been personally trained and vetted by Tara herself. They're dedicated to making sure you reach your musical potential. After you receive your free 15-minute consultation with a specialist, they'll recommend you to a coach they feel is a good fit for you and your goals.
Emma Bogren
Professional Vocal and Piano Coach
Emma is a singer, pianist, and entertainer from Piteå in northern Sweden who developed her passion for music while growing up surrounded by a musical family. She gravitated toward singing and playing music and joined choirs early.
Emma's musical journey continued through middle and high school. At college, she studied gospel music and piano in northern and central Sweden.
Emma ventured into songwriting and studio and choir work early in her professional career. She has directed choirs for 15 years while contributing to the studio scene, creating choir arrangements and providing backing vocals for local artists, including Chris Kläfford.
One of Emma's most notable performances was as the solo vocalist for the Swedish premiere of Will Todd's "Passion Music."
With over 20 years of experience performing at various venues, Emma is known for her stage presence, versatility, and passion for gospel music.
Nikita "Nikki" Hollins
Professional Vocal and Songwriting Coach
Nikki is a singer/songwriter from Detroit, Michigan, who's garnered acclaim by winning talent shows, vocal competitions, and titles such as "Best Singer" and "Wayne State Idol" during college. Her journey led to recording an EP and writing songs for major industry artists.
Nikki is currently involved in songwriting for Mbakop Films, and through her collaboration with Sony and BMI producers and singers, she's set to release an educational children's album. The album features popular songs rewritten for a lively learning experience. The singles "The Solar System," "Counting Money," and "Parts of a Cell" are available on iTunes, and the lyric videos are available on YouTube.
Beyond teaching, Nikki assists in vocal production during studio sessions and guides artists to bring original music to fruition. Nikki believes that anyone can become a wonderful singer if you have passion and dedication.
TJ Wachter
Professional Vocal Coach
TJ is a professional vocalist with three decades of experience and a rich musical background. She has performed for thousands across the United States and finds herself most at home when connecting with a live audience.
TJ is a dedicated NYU Tisch alum, and she honed her skills through diverse experiences, from landing musical theater roles to performing with jazz ensembles in New York City. TJ's journey also includes extensive studio work in New York and Los Angeles and collaborations with award-winning songwriters, producers, and engineers.
TJ has shared the stage with and performed for renowned artists. One of her proudest moments was earning praise from Paul McCartney for her original recording. His response was, “She’s a pretty good artist!”
Music is TJ's passion and her true soul connection. In her words, “Having the opportunity to share the passion of song and performance with students and help guide new singers on their own musical journeys, is an honor and a privilege.”
